Write a Worship Purpose Statement

The challenge of every worship community is the diversity of expectations from attendees. The responsibility of worship leaders is to provide a biblically sound and consistent worship experience. Drawing from Paul’s instructions in Ephesians and Colossians, this study encourages the development of a statement of worship values that focuses on faith formation, makes worship evaluation and improvement possible, and facilitates teaching worshippers about the elements of the service. Geared to the worship leader or leadership team, learn more about writing a congregational worship statement from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship.
