Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion

The Wabash Center supports teachers of religion and theology in higher education through meetings and workshops, grants, a journal and other resources to make accessible the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Our "Internet Guide to Religion" is a searchable annotated taxonomy of over 3,000 Web pages on a wide variety of religious topics that might be valuable for faculty. In addition we have a growing database of web-based and published scholarship on teaching in higher education.

Our grants page includes a thorough description of how to write a successful grant proposal, including links to additional guides and also other possible funding institutions.

In addition to descriptions of current and past workshops and colloquies, users can search for specific past participants, or find participants in a particular school, region, or academic field.

You can also find out about how to write for our peer-reviewed journal, "Teaching Theology and Religion," view abstracts from previously published issues and link to the Wiley-Blackwell Web page where subscribers can search past issues and download articles.

All Wabash Center programs are funded by Lilly Endowment Inc. We are located on the Wabash College campus in rural Indiana.
