Hope College Receives Over $450,000 Grant to Focus on Reconnecting Youth to Church

Hope College, a Christian college located in Holland Michigan said that the program’s approach is to work with churches to focus on millennials and young adults who no longer take part in faith based organizations, and reconnect them. Hope College stated in a press release that “as the project runs, the youth-adult teams at the churches will identify and begin working on problems that interest them within church or community.”

The Art of Worship Leadership Seminar at Calvin Institute of Christian Worship

This intensive seminar includes instruction in the role of the worship team, vocals and vocal harmony, guitar, piano, bass, drums, putting all the instruments together, rehearsing effectively, and leading worship. There will also be time devoted to the “other” instruments of the praise team: flute, violin, mandolin, etc. While this workshop is aimed toward team leaders, anyone who is on a worship team or hopes to lead one will benefit.
