Most Hispanics who move away from Roman Catholicism are unaffiliated with any religious tradition. This is especially true for Hispanic youth and new immigrants. Since 40 percent of U.S. Hispanics are under age 30, churches have to attend to the young if Hispanic Christianity in the U.S. is going to thrive.
