Worship During Lent

The period of Lent has historically been a time of instruction, repentance, return to the faith and preparation for Easter’s affirmation of Christ’s resurrection. The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship provides a list of resource links that encourage the exploration and deepening of a “baptismal spirituality” that centers on the Christian’s union with Christ. Topics include worship service planning guides and outlines, sample prayers, sermon series guides, meditations and devotions, and the use of the visual arts to support worship. Find the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship's Lent resources here.
