Thoughts on Post-Colonial Mission Partnerships with Africa - Video

In an interview conducted during his visit to Duke Divinity School in December, 2008, AME Bishop Paul J. M. Kawimbe offered his thoughts on a post-colonial model for global missions. He called for a partnership model, and noted that Africa can bring to partnership the experience of diversity in worship and the experience of a culture that is more like the ancient Church than is American culture. America can contribute scientists in medical, economic, and other developmental fields, as well as technical expertise in building infrastructure. You can listen to his remarks in a 2-minute video on the website of Faith & Leadership, an offering of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity.
