Sources for Information on Judaism

Judaism is the oldest surviving monotheistic religion, with a history spanning more than 3,000 years. Core Jewish beliefs have had a powerful influence on later religious traditions such as Christianity and Islam.  Jews are considered an ethno-religious group that includes both those born into the faith and those who convert. For information on the branches of Judaism and its beliefs and practices, as well as links to sources on Judaism in America, access the Reporting on Judaism page on ReligionLink, a project of the Religion Newswriters Association. RNA is a source of guidance and information for reporters on religion.
