Self-Discipline as a Spiritual Practice

It takes effort and plenty of persistence to lead faithful lives these days. Learning when to say yes and when to say no is a challenging practice. We all have too much to do and too little time to do it. Tough decisions and persistent effort are required of those who seek lives that are whole and holy. We must learn the practice of saying no to that which crowds God out and yes to a way of life that makes space for God. Practicing Our Faith offers ways to practice faith-based decisionmaking, related documents and study guides, and ideas to share with faith communities.
