Schools Under Pressure Get Boost From Lilly Foundation

Schools are under pressure these days to help students do well not only academically, but socially and emotionally, as well, Judith Cebula, communications director at Lilly Endowment Inc., said. And, most districts don't have the resources they need to fully accomplish those goals. Enter the Lilly grants program. Penn-Harris-Madison, South Bend and Mishawaka schools were recently awarded a total of $130,000 from Lilly to boost student counseling services.
