Recognizing the Unseen Worshippers

This study provided by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship seeks to broaden a worship planning team’s awareness of who is visibly and invisibly present at services. It raises the question of how fully or partially the various attendees are engaged. Discussion questions orient toward a deeper understanding of how the worship service reflects the unseen presence of the Triune God, and the angels of Revelation 4. Participants are also asked to make an initial assessment of how inviting and approachable their service is to those who are not already mature believers. Geared to the worship leader or leadership team.
