Powerful Worship from the Early Church

Jesus’ near contemporaries can teach us important things about worship, according Marva Dawn, theologian, educator and teaching fellow in spiritual theology at Regent College. In a one-hour workshop at the 2013 Calvin Symposium on Worship held at Calvin Seminary, Dawn explored early Church worship forms for elements that might enhance contemporary worship. Her talk helps spiritual seekers understand what we can learn from church fathers and our faith history, and is offered by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship.
