The Ministry of Mentoring

Mentoring is a form of friendship in which the mentor acts as companion and supports the protege in developing an authentic self. Christian mentors assist a protege in being Christ-like, and challenge  them to discover and live into their particular vocation. In this paper, Rev. Amy McCreath reflects on the role of a mentor, and invites fellow clergy to take up the role as an intentional part of their ministry.
