Larry Eskridge on a new video series, "People of Faith: Christianity in America"

The history of Christianity is probably the most neglected subject in congregational life in America. Into this gap comes a new video series, "People of Faith: Christianity in America," from the Institute for the Study of American Evangelicals. This six-part presentation of the drama of Christian faith in American culture spans the colonization of America to the dilemmas and diversity of Christian witness today. Dr. Larry Eskridge, the series' producer, is interviewed about this award-winning two DVD set of videos that include commentary by such figures as Scott Appleby, Bill Leonard, Joseph E. Lowery, Martin E. Marty, Mark Noll and others.
