Improving Worship in Christian High School Chapels

The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, dedicated to renewing worship in faith communities, hosts annual symposia on worship for worship leaders. The 2012 symposium included a seminar on worship planning and leading in high school chapels. The session included a panel discussion, which is available as an audio file, featuring high school chapel planners, teachers and students who talked about how to engage students in chapel services. Other resources and ideas about improving high school chapel services are available, including observations by student Hannah Huisman, who helps plan chapel services at her high school, about ways churches can involve teenagers in their worship service planning.
