How to Integrate Spiritual Leadership and Effective Management Skills

Faith leaders have a lot more to think about than their Sunday sermon. Church leadership requires a balance of practical, task-oriented expertise, a level of spiritual discernment and responsivity, and at the same time a thorough integration of faith and good management practices.

In a workshop conducted for Indiana congregations, Donald Zimmer explored the spiritual foundations of congregational leadership and provided a short list of favorite resources, archived on the website of Center for Congregations, an Indiana-oriented resource that helps churches address their challenges and opportunities.
