Gay marriage and religion — what the faithful say

As the Supreme Court took up the issue of same-sex marriage in March 2013, religious voices on both sides of the issue weighed in. ReligionLink, a resource site provided by Religion Newswriters Association, a member organization dedicated to promoting and supporting quality religion reporting, developed a page of resources to help religion writers covering the topic.

The page provides useful information for anyone interested in the religious aspects of same-sex marriage, including recent news articles, the perspectives of secular and religious organizations, public opinion polls, key court cases, and reviews of congressional actions. In addition, the page provides links to previous resource pages, offering additional insight into the history of the gay marriage debate.
