Fostering Connections Among Denominational Levels of Authority

Neither congregations nor regional judicatories flourish when their constituent members and organizations do not have some connection to one another; and without a sense of connection and unity, the denomination as a whole cannot thrive. This paper discusses the issues that pit congregations, regional associations, and national bodies against one another, and examines the approaches taken by national and regional executives to encourage stronger connections and commitments across the divisions.
