Faith communities and people with disabilities

Improving accessibility in a church for people with disabilities serves both a welcoming and a retention role. The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship explores the faith aspect of disability in a series of articles and resources, "Showcase: Disability within Faith Communities." The purpose of this showcase is to help us as individuals, families and faith communities be bridges of holistic care to our friends and families with disability in order that we can step into life together and experience God and his attributes in new ways.
