Perkins Foundation for Reconciliation and Development in Jackson, Mississippi, Mr. Perkins discusses his vision for local community development in poor, minority communities in his home state. Goals include developing indigenous local leadership, fostering positive male role models for young men, creating opportunities for racial reconciliation, supporting at-risk families, and assisting educational achievement through after-school and college-aged programs.
