Celebrate the Vision of Religious Inclusion

Odyssey Networks, an interfaith consortium using electronic media to enrich spiritual life and build bridges of understanding among people of faith, has recapitulated the unique American struggle to fully embrace religious diversity in a  short  video called “We the People.” The video, prodiuced by Intersections International with a grant from Odyssey, begins with a clip of Ronald Reagan declaring, "We mandate no belief in this country, nor will we ever. Church and state are and must remain separate." Still, religion plays a large role in politics. How do we keep our religious views from becoming part of our political system? Explore the question with your congregation.
