Building Hope by Rescuing Homes

About 250,000 homes are destroyed every year in the United States. By rescuing houses scheduled for demolition, former marketing and advertising CEO Nancy Murray and her nonprofit group are creating energy-efficient green houses for low- and moderate-income residents. Many of the new homeowners are working in nursing, law enforcement and as firefighters. Murray is driven by her Christian faith, and hires and trains hard-to-place men with troubled backgrounds.
