Auburn's Groundswell Founder Receives Courage Award

The Asian American Justice Center’s 17th Annual American Courage Awards take place October 3 and Valarie Kaur, founder of the multifaith movement for justice and social action Groundswell, will be presented with the American Courage Award for her steadfast commitment to racial and religious justice and equality. Groundswell is an online social action platform powered by Auburn Theological Seminary, whose mission is to equip bold and resilient leaders who can bridge religious divides, build community, pursue justice, and heal the world.
