Africa and New Sight

In this sabbatical reflection on his trip through Africa on a Lilly Clergy Renewal Grant, Malcolm Young discusses the contrasts between North American society and living conditions, and the various societies and conditions he encountered in the Third World. He discovered the commonality of faith and the power of worldwide Anglicanism to help bridge the divide. He also reflects on his discovery of his artistic side and the difference that discovery has continued to make in his ministry and life journey.
