The 2013 Lilly Fellows Program National Conference

The 23rd Annual Lilly Fellows Program National Conference, "Faith and Academic Freedom in Civic Virtue," will take place October 18 through 20 at the University of Scranton, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Participants will be invited to think about how we as individuals and faith-based institutions bring the values of faith and academic freedom to the service of civic virtue. Speakers include the Rev. Mark Ravizza, S.J., associate professor of philosophy and senior fellow, the Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education at Santa Clara University; Patricia McGuire, Esq., president of Trinity Washington University; and, Rob Kapilow, composer, commentator, author, and conductor. In addition, participants will be invited to "An Evening of Jazz," a concert featuring local and internationally renowned talent. Registration is under way.
