Resources for Working with Consultants

Leading a faith community is a complex process. Fundraising, strategic planning, mission statements, and goals are all part of the business that sometimes requires external assistance. A professional consultant can provide an objective opinion, offer expertise in a particular field, and see issues from afar that congregation members may overlook. Helpful recommendations, ideas and resources can be found in the publication “Working with Consultants” by the Center for Congregations, an Indianapolis-based organization that supports faith communities by offering advice, workshops, speakers, resources and events in Indianapolis and online.
