Resources for Development Officers of Theological Schools

The Development and Institutional Advancement Program is designed to assist seminary development officers master their core areas of responsibility - annual fund, major gifts, planned giving, and capital campaigns. The program also strengthens their professional skills of assembling and managing donor databases, working with presidents and boards, building the case for support, and communicating the case. Annual meetings are held to improve development officer skills. New development officers can take advantage of an annual pre-conference workshop for new officers, and experienced development officers can participate in special-topic pre-conference workshops.
