The meeting, sponsored by the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature, brings thousands of professors and students, authors and publishers, religious leaders and interested laypersons together each year.

Small Grants on Teaching and Learning Available

Summer is a great time to develop a small grant proposal on teaching and learning, according to the Wabash Center, which provides funds for activities that enhance teaching and learning in the fields of religion and theology. Wabash seeks to fund projects that promote a sustained conversation about pedagogy through the improvement of practical applications of teaching and learning methods, the encouragement of research and study of pedagogical issues, and the creation of a supportive environment for teaching.
