Calvin College Artist Collaborative Spend a Month Exploring Indonesia

Calvin fosters communal connections that inspire wonder, curiosity, and action. They are pursuing an environment of inclusive excellence, cultural competency, and global awareness.

This past interim, the Artist Collaborative—a diverse cohort of Calvin student artists—spent a month exploring, studying, and creating art in the beautiful country of Indonesia. During this trip, they invited Indonesian Calvin alumni and prospective Calvin families to gather with these students and professors. This inter-generational gathering created the unprecedented opportunity for many Indonesian students and families to see a future at Calvin College. Their hope is that this event is the first of many similar gatherings, bringing together Calvin alumni, students, and prospective families in countries around the world. [Details].
