African American Lectionary Cultural Resources includes sermon ideas and materials on Emancipation Proclamation Day; Installation of Officers/Celebration of Church Leaders; African Heritage; Economic Justice/Financial Literacy; Women’s Day (March is Women’s History Month); Church Anniversary; Marriage Enrichment; Palm Sunday and Good Friday. The African American Lectionary is a resource tool that highlights the African American ecclesial traditions and recognizes days on the liturgical calendar that are celebrated across a variety of ecclesial traditions.
