Seminary Growth Sets New Records

When the Association of Theological Schools released a report on enrollment trends over the last five years, the headline was a bit surprising. The report, Seminaries set six enrollment records,” described growth trends, including a record number of professional master’s degree students. Another recent report identified 100 seminaries that have grown over the past five years and examined the reasons why. In an article, "Some Theological Schools and Programs are Growing," posted on the website of Faith & Leadership, a learning resource for Christian leaders and their institutions from Leadership Education at Duke Divinity, Daniel O. Aleshire explores the trends and what they mean.
