Leadership La Porte County Hosts its 2nd Annual “Volunteer Expo” on April 19

Leadership La Porte County, Inc. was formed in 1984, with support from the Lilly Foundation, to encourage engaged citizens to take an active role in their communities by serving on boards or committees, and engaging in activities that support the community needs. Thirty-four years later, Leadership La Porte County continues to provide programs and events geared toward community involvement of adults and youth. With a mission to “inspire, develop, cultivate and connect emerging and existing leaders to serve their diverse communities,” the organization has trained thousands of citizens throughout its history.
