It’s a scary and complex time in media, particularly with media pundits proclaiming doom on a daily basis. Yet somehow, the most unlikely of players has built a media business that’s working, using a clever combination of subscriptions and advertising set on a foundation of grants obtained through its nonprofit status.

More congregations are following their members online. But many are still evolving in the way they use technology for ministry.

Natural disasters, like the massive tornado that struck Oklahoma, can devastate entire communities and sometimes shake our faith, whether we are directly affected or not. Many ask why God would allow such tragedy, or wonder if the disaster is God’s punishment.
