Helping Theology Students Understand Their "Calling"

While college students are interested in discovering a career, they also search for meaning. The Program for the Theological Exploration of Vocation helps church-related colleges and universities engage students in understanding the term "calling." It seeks to broaden students’ understandings of how their future careers can be shaped by and oriented toward a greater commitment. In this interview, Dorothy Bass and Mark Schwehn reflect on Program for the Theological Exploration of Vocation and its effects on faculty, students and society.
