What to know about Maintaining and renovating your church building

The Center for Congregations, an organization that helps faith communities by providing resources to address their challenges and opportunities, hosted an educational event for church leaders to discuss building project strategies that included discovering the purpose of and evaluating facilities, designing and funding renovation projects, construction of new facilities and community centers, restoring historic buildings and more. The Center outlines the things church leaders need to consider when undertaking building projects, and offers a number of resources for church communities, including this one about maintaining, renovating, or evaluating their building for repairs.
