Capital Campaign Fundraising Benefits

A capital campaign is a special fundraising effort for a specified project. Successful capital campaigns involve the entire membership and are based on a shared vision for the future of the congregation. The Center for Congregations, an Indianapolis-based organization that supports congregations by helping them find the best resources for their current challenges, offers information about successful capital campaigns in an article, "And the Money Came," by Wendy McCormick. The Center also sponsors fundraising workshops and makes information available on its website.
